BIOGRAPHY

Elizabeth Short is a transdiscplinary artist working at and with intersections of  text, visual art, sound and moving image. She was born in the North of England and splits her time between there and the South East of England.

Short graduated in 2009 with a BA (hons) in Contemporary Performance Practice from Leeds Metropolitan University and has followed this up with an Mres in Performance studies in 2015 from Leicester De Montfort University. As of 2021 she is undertaking a Masters in Sound and Moving Image at Norwich University of Art.

Elizabeth has performed live in galleries and club contexts, under a growing list of dead names (both collaborative and legal) nationally and internationally since the late 00s.

She is owned by her two beloved cats Saint Patience and Lady Grace.
